Privacy policy

Hedge Row ("we") publishes free email newsletters of published market data for farmers and others who hedge agricultural and livestock commodities. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Your email address, so we can send the newsletters you ask for.
• Your choices: state (and optional region), commodities, frequency (daily, weekly, monthly), comparison states and the comparison line on your charts.
• Consent records: when you signed up and confirmed, and the IP address the sign-up came from, so we can show you asked to be on the list.
• Delivery records: which issues we sent you, and bounce, complaint and unsubscribe notices from our email provider.

We do not ask for your name, farm details, payment information or positions. We don't use tracking pixels or link tracking in our newsletters, and the website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

Only to send and personalize the newsletters you chose, keep the list working (confirm sign-ups, honor unsubscribes, stop mailing addresses that bounce or complain) and prevent abuse of the sign-up form.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only with service providers that run the service for us: our email delivery provider (Amazon Web Services, Amazon SES) and our hosting provider. They process it on our behalf. We would disclose it only if the law requires.

How long we keep it

While you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-mail list so we don't email you again; you may ask us to delete it entirely. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days. Rate-limit records are deleted after one day.

Your choices

Every newsletter has a one-click unsubscribe link and a link to change your preferences. To see, correct or delete your information, write to us at the address below.

Children

The service isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell subscribers by email if the change is material.
